More Than A Gym

A performance center built on excellence

The Ironclad Standard

More Than a Gym. A Performance Training Center Built on Excellence.

At Ironclad Performance Center, our work is guided by a commitment to professionalism, excellence, and continuous improvement. We believe results are earned through consistency, discipline, and attention to detail—not shortcuts.

We take pride in delivering high-level coaching and structured training programs designed for long-term success. Our approach is built to help you perform at your best—not just in the gym, but in every aspect of life.

We embrace challenges as opportunities, push for progress every day, and bring a genuine passion for fitness and performance to everything we do.

Our Coaching Philosophy

We believe great coaching is about more than leading a workout. It’s about understanding the individual, developing the right plan, and paying attention to the details that create meaningful progress.

Our coaching philosophy is built on intentional movement, structured training, and progressive development. We meet people where they are, challenge them appropriately, and continually refine the process as they grow. We don’t chase shortcuts or rely on one-size-fits-all solutions. We build strong foundations, develop sound movement, and pursue progress with intention and consistency.

Corey Bullard

Coach

A former Marine, NCAA Division I athlete, and Olympic Weightlifting National Champion, Coach Corey Bullard brings decades of experience in athletic performance, strength and conditioning, and human movement to Ironclad Performance Center.

His experience spans multiple sports, competitive environments, and generations of athletes, giving him a unique understanding of what it takes to develop performance—and how that approach should evolve throughout life.

Corey has experienced the demands of high-level competition firsthand, as well as the injuries, setbacks, and challenges that can accompany years of intense training. Those experiences have shaped his coaching philosophy and given him a deep appreciation for the balance between performance, health, and longevity.

Today, Corey works with individuals at every stage of their physical journey. He helps young athletes build the movement skills, coordination, strength, and confidence that form the foundation of lifelong athleticism. He works with competitive athletes to develop the strength, power, speed, and resilience needed to reach higher levels of performance. And he helps adults maintain or regain the physical capabilities they value while building a foundation for long-term health and an active life.

Corey believes great coaching begins with understanding the individual—not simply prescribing a workout. Training should reflect a person's goals, experience, abilities, and stage of life. His approach is purposeful, progressive, and efficient, helping each client get the most from their time in the gym while preparing them for the demands of life outside it.

Corey understands what it takes to perform at a high level. At Ironclad, his goal is to help every client become stronger, more capable, and more confident in what their body can do. Because excellence isn't accidental—it's built one disciplined day at a time.

testimonials

“I've worked with a variety of coaches through the years, and Corey's attention to detail and client satisfaction is unsurpassed. I'm impressed with his depth of knowledge and ability to observe and quickly diagnose inefficiencies with my movements. In a short period of time, I've surpassed the fitness level I was at in college and they have helped me set new goals with my health and wellness. Their techniques and philosophies have also translated over to my golf game, allowing me to become stronger and more flexible, leading to a consistent improvement from tee to green. I constantly recommend Corey to all my friends and colleagues looking for a gym that feels like family.”

"Working out with Corey has been a life changing experience for me. He initially worked with me to make some diet changes that have generated great results. Also my results with improving my strength and stamina have been unbelievable. I work out with weight, and do lifts that I never thought would be possible for me."

M. C.

“I came to Corey specifically to learn the Olympic lifts. I stayed because Corey and Ellen really cared about form and technique… something that is very important to me. Then, when we started to compete, it brought it all up to the next level. This is a group of folks who are serious and I like that. I appreciated that Ellen and Corey REALLY do love what they do. You can tell that they aren’t just going through the motions. As for changes that occurred… OMG… these guys changed my life! I wasn’t lifting before I came here. I wasn’t competing before I came here. I am engrossed in the lifting world now and love it.”

J. M.

"Corey took the time to listen to my fitness goals and provided me with a personalized program to help me get there. I was never the type to go into a gym and pick up a weight for fear of hurting myself due to improper form, but Corey’s knowledge of movements and attention to detail have made me feel much more confident in the gym during our workouts, and makes him stand out among other coaches in the area."

F. M.

"For the first time in my life, I can see the difference working out and consistent exercise has had on my body. It’s crazy because now if I miss a workout, I actually miss it and want to make up for it. My legs have definition and shape that was never there before; My clothes fit better; My arms are tone and my Buddha belly is almost gone!"
